Lillian Nyakyi-Chiume, is a Partner at Basil & Alred responsible for the Advisory Service Practice. She has over 20 years work experience gained in Fortune 500 companies as well as in the Big 4, spanning across different geographical regions in Africa as well as in the United States.
She has an accomplished management career reflecting over 10 years’ experience in human resources management and advisory, operational leadership, resource utilization, and organizational development in a multinational management consulting organization.
Prior to Basil & Alred, Lillian was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young where her role was to lead the Tanzania Advisory practice working together with the Deputy Head of Advisory for East and Central Africa. She was also the Head of People Advisory Services Practice in Tanzania, focusing on Human Resource organizational development assignments in both the public and private sector.
Lillian has worked extensively in institutional reviews and capacity building projects with clients in the public service and private sector in financial services, parastatals, energy and utilities, revenue authorities, health, transport, pension funds and NGO’s. She has extensive project management experience across the spectrum of organizational size and complexity.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership and Strategic Management from Manhattanville College in the USA as well as Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Fordham University in the USA.
